Twentity is looking for a few good writers. Could it be you?
Don’t you love it when you read other people’s stories as they are going through their journey of life? Especially when you can relate to what they are going through? We do too! So, here at Twentity we are looking for six writers who want to share their journey of how they are graduating into the real world. This is an unpaid position.
The Spring Semester goes live May 2011 but the writing will begin April 2011.
There are three segments we need to fill with two stellar writers:
Prep Talk— College Seniors
The Firsts— Recent grads 22-25
The Seconds— 26-29
Commitment required (So you know what you are getting into)
- Twentity bloggers will write two post a month for six months. You’ll get prompts emailed to you to get your writing juices flowing but other than that you are free to write what you feel.
- Bloggers must be willing to be honest, yourself, and share your ups and down with the world. If you have your life already figured out, stellar! We are looking for ladies and gentlemen who haven’t figured it all out and are open to sharing their journey, have a seriously fun personality, optimistic, and love to write.
- Each post can range from 600 to 1,000 words and must include a photo.
- Respond to comments made on your post. (No one wants to feel as if no one is listening.)
- Promote your post by tweeting and sharing with your friends on Facebook and other social media.
What we are not looking for.
This is not going to be a way to promote your own business. Of course you can mention your business as it is part of your journey but don’t think you are going to be part of this project to promote it.

1. Name, occupation, city, age
2. Your favorite photo of yourself
3. Tell us in 500 words why you’d be a stellar Twentity blogger. Introduce yourself and share your journey to graduate into the real world. (Write as if this your first post.)
We’re really looking for a diverse group of men and women, based on location, age, career choices, and unique journey. All applications will be reviewed.
