The Seconds
Congratulations! You’ve been out of college and on your own for awhile. You are in the phase we like to call “The Seconds.” You’re graduating from an apartment to a house, from your first job to a full fledge career, and more. Don’t worry, we still got ya back.
If you are looking to buy this season, just realize that most properties come out this time of year and you will be competing with other buyers. So when you find a house you like, you have to be ready to buy, like now, or you will lose out. If you can wait or are not ready yet, then I’m glad I got to you. Morris says that if you wait until after Thanksgiving, and December you can often get your dream home at a lower price because most buyers hold off looking during the holidays.
Do you have a friend who is always complaining about what their boyfriend or girlfriend is not doing right? Every time you ask, which you are starting to think may be a bad idea, they never seem happy in the relationship. Or, you hang out with your friend and their significant other and they always end up arguing. And every time you leave their presence you either appreciate your significant other more or you thank the heavens that you are single.
I’ve always heard how car dealers try to haggle and get as much money from you as possible. I decided to bring my stepfather for his support and car buying expertise. I hate succumbing to the stereotypes but when it comes to anything having to do with a car, I truly feel a man is best for the job, at least in my case it is. I’m all for “I am woman, hear me roar” but I’m woman enough to admit when I need help.
