I came across All You Need -The Series in Jenny Blake’s blog Life After College. I was intrigued because it was a collection of essays about love from 28 different perspectives. I downloaded this ebook and am so glad I did. All You Need is a collection of personal essays about love. The genius behind this work is Elisa Docuette of Ophelia’s Webb.
Every person’s essay of love was beautiful and as a bonus each one also included a link to a song the author chose to exemplify their definition of love. And, we’re not talking about that mushy, yucky, Hollywood, romantic love. In fact, none of them were. One of my favorite pieces titled “Sometimes Love Pees On Your Foot” was written by Rich Matteo about his love for his family’s pet dog, Rusty.
Others wrote about love of their family, children, best friends and loving themselves. In reading this stellar ebook, I laughed, I got emotional and I resonated with a few, such as Jamie Varon who declares she is a “Fool for Love” and doesn’t care. Me too!
There are many other essays I have enjoyed. I have been introduced to new writers I had never heard of and found new songs to rock out to. Download this free ebook and find out if All You Need is Love?

Wow, thanks so much for sharing – I’m glad you enjoyed it! I agree, all the different perspectives and opinions on all things love was certainly interesting and thought provoking. Jamie’s was one of my favorites as well.
Can’t wait for this upcoming February when the NEXT series hits…Love: Pas de Deux. 🙂
I really did enjoy it and am eagerly waiting the next part of the series. Yay!
