Autumn brings a lot of things back into our lives. Some good, and maybe some not so good. If you are a student than the start of the semester has you running around trying to get yourself sorted and organized. If you are a graduate than maybe it has brought about a panic to find a job and start your career. Everyone seems to be getting back down to business in the autumn after the nice relaxing and warm summer has come to an end. The passing of the summer tends to snap people out of vacation mode, and they remember that they are supposed to be busy.

Many allow less time for the romance in their lives to blossom and don’t realize that autumn offers such great romance and intimacy opportunities. Has this happened with you and your partner? Are you finding yourselves too busy to search for great date ideas? Has the autumn weather got you and your partner guessing as to what to do? Don’t let the cooler weather push you and your partner indoors prematurely. Take advantage of the beauty and majesty of the autumn and get out and enjoy nature at it’s finest before winter rears its chilly head and you find yourself with no other choice.

Photograph the season – This is a great idea to get you and your love to embrace the sheer natural beauty autumn blesses us with. You don’t need to be a professional. In fact it’s probably much more fun if you are not. All you need to have is the desire to get out and enjoy spending time with your partner and your imaginations. Pick up that digital camera you got for Christmas last year and put it to use. Look to capture the vibrant colors of nature or the evolution of the changing season. Take a walk through the local park or a nature walk through the river valley in your area. There are so many great and beautiful sights to try and capture on film. Don’t forget to take pictures of each other. Be playful and have fun with each other.

Once you have snapped enough pictures or are satisfied with what you have taken you can go home and sort through your treasures. Make a scrapbook or a slideshow of your date. This couldn’t be easier with todays technology and software. Save your work on your computer or copy it to disc. A great idea is to simply store the images on your computer while your love is there and then go back later and make the slideshow secretly. You can then give it to them as a romantic little gift on a birthday or anniversary. They will love the trip down memory lane.

Arrange an outdoor barbeque or picnic – Another great way to get out and cheaply enjoy the beauty of autumn is to put together a nice little barbeque or picnic. Pack up a basket of food(whatever your favorites are), throw in a couple blankets(one to sit on and one to keep you warm if need be), and take your partner down to the nearest park or picnic area. It would be best if you found one which had a fire pit so you can make a little fire to stay warm. Other than that, take some warm drinks like hot chocolate or hot apple cider to help you stay warm and sit back and enjoy. Cuddle and be intimate while taking in all of what the season has to offer.

You may choose to combine the two ideas offered here into one and plan a romantic autumn picnic which you chronicle with your digital camera. The main idea is to get out and have fun with the one you care about and then immortalize the time together with photographs. We often retreat to the indoors once summer has come to an end and miss the true beauty of the fall season. Simply being out in nature is romantic at this time of the year so take advantage of this opportunity and go be intimate with your partner.
